I attended a trainnng about "Strategic Human Resource Planning " on Sep.29 , which spoken by Mr. Victor S. Deyglio of Canada logistics Institute.
I feel it is a very intresting and illuminating speech. The following is some sharing with you.
Process and Key factor for an effective Strategic HR Planning :
- Keys to Success and workforce development strategies: Business Development, Change Process, Leadership.
- Framework for Strategic HR Planning :
1) Nature of Work - Responsiblitie
2) Scope of Work Tasks and Activities
3) Definiation of Work - Competence ( The focus is on Competence, not just knowledge )
4) Development of Work - Trainning and Certification
and not only on formal education and success to information ( theory) >
- Next steps: From Plan to Implementation:
1) Confirm the framwork for strategic HR Planning
2) Position HR in the framework ( Who need what skills ?)
3) Creat HR professional Development and Trainning Plans.
4) Implement a Learning Management System
5) Deliver Trainning and Certification.
So, As HR in further, We should act 4 roles as like : Expertise, Business partner, Change leader, People.
